php3guest is a website guestbook written in PHP. php3guest is a website guestbook written in PHP.php3guest is quite easy to use; a little (documented) configuration file will need some simple settings. php3guest's look and feel and language can be modified in it's language packs. Sample language modules for german, english, hungarian, chinese, spanish, danish, portuguese, finnish, french, swedish, srpski, turkish, and italian are provided (if the language pack you are looking for is not yet included in the package, feel free to request it from me by email). You probably (hopefully) do not have to change anything in the script itself. Just create a mySQL database and a table (table definition is provided in the package). Since php3guest is published under the GPL, you are welcome to make your own changes, as long as you charge no money for the result and it stays under the GPL. What you should change in the config: - The password for private entries. Note that this password is not at all secure and transmitted as clear text (as long as you do not use SSL/TLS). So do NOT choose your regular passord (which is a bad habbit anyway) - If you want to receive any new entries as email, change $mailEntries to "1" and set a mail address in $mailEntriesTo. $mailEntriesFrom should be set to an arbitrary account which is allowed to send email. If you do not like the default subject, change $mailEntriesSubject as well.
